I picked one of these up at Cabelas today. Does anyone have any time behind on of these? It is my first spotting scope and I didn't want to drop $3000+ on a spotting scope just to find out I didn't like using them. Cost was $670 plus $170 for tripod and $90 for an IPhone compatable mounting system for shooting vids or stills using the spotting scope.

I bought one in a Burris and the same size as yours.
Sure wished I chose the smaller version.
Fine for bench shooting.
Just couldn't imagine wanting to pack that valise around out in the bush.
 
Thanks for that! I should have added that the intended purpose is bench shooting and using with a window mount in my truck,..or perhaps the gopher field for video :) I will not be packing it around that is for sure
