I use one on a .308 Savage 10. I am really impressed with it. Clear, smooth and nice feel to the turrets.
When I got home from the range, I plugged all my data into the Vortex Ballistics Calculator and their recommended number of click for “x” yards with “y” bullet was exactly what I had come up with. I thought that was pretty cool.
The downsides? The marks on the turrets don’t line up exactly with the line on the scope body; not a big deal for me, it’s only off by a hair or two. Also, I kinda wish it had parallax adjustment; however, at this price I can understand why it’s not there. If anything, this makes me focus more on consistency with cheek weld.
I’ve never looked through, or even held, a Nightforce, Schmidt & Bender, high end Leupold, or $1000+ scope of any brand so I guess I don’t know what I’m missing and I’m cool with that. For the $400 I threw down on this scope, it’ll do everything I need it to do for now. I’d buy it again if I had the choice.
Good luck!
