Vortex Flash Hider on M700 - Opinions?

I'm getting a M700 SPS-V to build-up into a tactical precision rifle and I am thinking of adding a Vortex flash hider. I have one on both my AR and my M14S, and in my experience, they work very, very well with various loads.

As far as the gunsmithing/machining is concerned, I can handle it and I am considering making a modified Vortex flash hider and heat treating it myself.

The only real questions are these:

Does a SWS really NEED a FH?
Is it going to affect accuracy?
Am I missing something?

Hello 441, I am sure it will work fine, I had one put on my ar10 308, it was purchase from brownell "SMITH ENTERPRISE", it work very well, I can see the bullet strinking gong at 500meter away...
