Vortex micro 3X on Ruger PC-9 rail

Mount it to the pic rail on top of the upper receiver. If you are worried about it "Losing zero because of the removable barrel". I had my 510c on the upper receiver and took my barrel off all the time with no issue, used it in competition with no change. Just make sure you have the barrel tensioner done up right and there wont be an issue (with the barrel off, start tensioning and trying to lock the barrel up. When you hit the point when its to tight to put back together, back it off until you can put it back together and then tension it 1 click at a time until it becomes hard but not impossible to remove the barrel. That's your sweet spot).

to Vortex, me, Vortex

Good afternoon,

The Ruger PCC carbine uses a proprietary rail system. It does not meet the standard 1913 STANAG picatinny rail specs. All of the industry manufactures of optics are dealing with this on the PCC. Our quick detach optics and accessories will not fit the RUGER PCC carbine, all our non quick detach red dot and accessories will fit the rifle.

You could make the 3X fit by using a flat file and opening the channel on the QD mount. This will not void the Vortex Warranty. There are no adapters currently available on the market to fix the mounting rail on the RUGER PCC to make it fit the 1913 STANAG specifications.
