Vortex Canada has lowered their wholesale price which allows dealers to list and sell for less. Just remember that existing dealers inventory was bought at higher prices and we can lower the price (on older products) and make less money or sit on it at the higher price and wait for things to reverse again. This is not bad for dealers who buy product as they need it but hurts stores that inventory significant number of scopes as there is no price protection on old products. Obviously when the price goes up it works in the favour of stocking dealers so it often evens up over time. Phil.
The price reduction in my opinion has no bearing whatsoever on quality but is simply a strategic decision by Vortex Canada to capture greater market share with the slight improvement of the Canadian dollar in the current sluggish Canadian retail market. Phil.

Are you lowering the prices to reflect the change? I called a couple of days ago looking for a Razor HD Gen II to check as places like Wolverine and Grouse River had lowered their prices . I would much rather support a local business but apparently the price hasn't been lowered. Can you advise if the prices of Vortex optics will be adjusted.
