Vortex pst viper 1-4x24

Anybody else own one of these? My question is about the magnification hash mark. When it lines up with 1x the magnification us actually on 4x and vice versa. Am I missing something or is this normal? I already emailed vortex but was hoping someone here could tell me if theirs is the same or fill me in as to why it's like that. Thx

On mine there are two sets of numbers... one indicates the magnification and the other indicates the reticle multiplier if you wanted to use it for holdovers etc.

Yes I see that now, was talking to the vortex guy and he filled me in. Thanks for the reply
