Vortex Ranger 1000

Has anyone used the Vortex Ranger 1000 Range Finder? I've tried searching but haven't found anything here. Also tried google for reviews but do not find much. I dont have the money for a Lecia and the Vortex is nice and small. I was able to handle one at the local shop here.

So if anyone uses one, what do you think of it. Would you buy one again?

Yeah, there are pretty new. Im interested in hearing about it as well, looks like a nice little unit.

They must be pretty new. Seems as though nobody here has used one and can comment on it. I guess i'll have to be the first.

These just came out. The specs on them seem pretty good for the price. I have one but haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet though.

Just looked at there website and they say the max "range reflective" is 11-1000 yards and the "range deer" is 11-500. I've never heard the term "range deer" before, can someone explain it??

To me it seems they are giving you an honest assessment of what you will be able to typically range a non reflective target at.
