Vortex razor gen 1 or viper pst gen 2

Have a buddy who is getting out and offered me his razor 5-25x50 gen 1 with mil dot reticle for 1400. I was going to buy a viper pst gen 2 ffp with ebr2b reticle. It's good glass just curious on what people's thoughts were as I'm a bit stumped.

My choice would be the Razor hands down. I retail Vortex and many other brands and feel the Razor is one of the best offerings from Vortex. Phil.
 
Huge vortex fan boy... yes I own or owned most of their optics under $2500 and even the hoodies and t shirts lol.

I hated the PST 2 wrote a scathing letter to Vortex about quality and screwing their customer base. The glass and reticals are horrid, it’s built well enough on the outside but they cut huge corners in the inside. 100% look through one before spending the money. The Razer is money well spent for features and quality.
 
The Razor gen 1 is a 5-20x50 not a 5-25, Just saying in case that has some weight on your desision, the razor gen 1 is hands down a better scope than the pst 2, a gen 1 at $1400 is a steal.
