Well take this for what it is worth as I do not own either one. But I have spent considerable time behind the Vortex Razor Spotting Scope. I was at Huntfest in Winnipeg all weekend, and the Vortex booth was next to mine, I could see the scratches, screws and switches on the switch plate covers up on the mezanine in the convention centre approx 100-120 metres away. I would start at 20X magnification, then take it all the way up to 60X. At 60X it was not as bright as it was at 20X, but it was indoors and above the overhead lighting. I have used one at the range too, with 25 and 30 caliber rifles, and we could easily see the bullet holes out to 300 meters, I can not comment on the 22 holes at that distance as I do not own one.
I would reccomend the Vortex Spotter, but can not honestly say it is better than your current unit as I have never even looked through that one. Best bet is to get behind one and make your own evaluations. Good luck!
