Vortex Recon R/T 15x50 Tactical Scope

Looking for some comments from owners/operators.
I'm thinking on picking this up for range use to spot hits out to 200?
for both .223 and .308 rifles. Will it do what I want?
Overall appeal and impressions as well.

I have one and it's decent, mine is the 15 x 50 you will likely have a hard time trying to spot holes in paper @ 200, but if you’re looking for hit/miss (dust) and corrections then it will work well for that.

you'll find that holding it steady is a challenge though with the 15x

the case it come with is crap though, the glass is middle of the road.

all in all it works well for what I want it for.
