Vortex Scope

How do you guys find the wire reticle in them. I have been on the fence. I have had a couple of the PSTs before upgrading to my Nightforces on my long range rigs, but I need something a little more economical for the .308 I just picked up and I was looking at the HS-T 4-16x44 with the MOA reticle. Then I read it has a wire reticle and I have never looked through one. Does anyone know how it compares? Is the glass and eyebox on par with the PSTs?

I havent played with mine, I wont get to see what its like for awhile. Might be alittle busy for me as I really like the BDC reticle myself

That's just the scope I was looking for, but due to some poor customer service at the Calgary Shooting Center, I ended up running to Wholesale Sports and picked up the 6.5-20x50 Viper. It's been all that I need at this point in my life and financial situation on my Sendero SFII in 300 WM. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new scope as well; the zero stop is a great feature. Have fun banging' the gongs!

The owners have turned into dicks. Too much success in their venture. I was one of their first customers and they were great then. Now, unless your wallet is out on the counter for something expensive, they don't know you or give a sh...t about you.

If comparing apples to apples, with the exception of the objective lens, there really isn't much of a difference between the HS-T and the PST, as far as the site shows. There's a slight difference in MOA adjustment between the HS, HS-LR versus the HS-T and PST, and the HS doesn't come with a sunshade. The turrets are pretty much the same on all but the HS. That's really all there is at first glance. That's not to say the lens or build quality don't differ, but I assume they're about the same.

The only other thing I see is the HS and HS-T seem to only be offered in SFP whereas the HS-LR and PST are also offered in FFP.

I have a PST 4-16 50FFP 30mm tube - Box says PST-416F1-A..Only had it on small calibers so far. Like it.

What site is pulling those prices in CAD? Might be time to let a few moths out of the wallet?
