Vortex Solo Monocular

Hi... I am considering purchasing a Votex solo... either 8x36 or 10x36.. does anyone have any experience with either or?

I like em. I'd stick with the eight power for the steadier image. the ranging reticle is fun to use and pretty accurate when you get used to it.

this isn't the solo, its the bigger brother the recon: but its done really well for me

I've had my Vortex 8X32 for about four years now. I use it in the mountains and it has not led an easy life! Good price point and perfect for gram weenies, just don't expect it to replace decent binos if you're hunting.

I have the 10x25, too little glass at the front. The 8 or 10x36 should be fine. Very robust design.

I have the 10x36 and it has very clear optics. If I had my time back I would get the 8x36 to reduce some of the shake from my unsteady hands.
