So I've had the opportunity to play around with it a bit. It seems alright for the cash but time will tell. Its a bit longer than the Aimpoint offerings like the CompM4.
It comes with a screw in doubler but with the rear buis I found it too long but for a rifle or shotgun its hard to foresee a problem.
With the doubler attached...
and without...
On/red/green/off cycle button is on the left side while the Night Vision and Intensity cycle buttons are on the back of the rubberized control. If a person was interested in utilizing a flip-to-side magnifier having the controls availible is a bit of good foresight by the engineers.
I found the side cowitnessed well with my MP7 sights using the included low mount but other mounting options should be considered for an standard AR sight line. With the flip up covers attached the front of the sight
just touches the rail slightly so a little extra room would be preferable.
The 4 MOA dot appeared more visible on red than green to me as it cycled through the 10 intensity settings. There are 2 Night Vision settings as well. The following Construction Features info was shamelessly ripped off their website.
"30 mm Tube Allows greater windage and elevation adjustment travel along with greater strength compared to the one-inch tube.
Extra-high Ring Height Puts scope's bore center 37 mm (1.46 inches) above the base height. Commonly used for mounting with a Flat Top AR15, providing absolute co-witness. Mounting ring fits Weaver or Picatinny style base.
One-Piece Tube Maximizes strength and waterproofness.
High Recoil Caliber Rating Tested with .375 H&H Magnum for 1000 rounds.
Red/Green light Switch Allows switching between red and green dot for optimum contrast with surroundings.
Adjustable Dot Intensity Allows adjusting of the dot intensity according to viewing conditions.
Unlimited Eye Relief Non-critical eye relief provides maximum mounting options.
Parallax Free Allows for rapid shooting with both eyes open, without concern for parallax shooting error. Parallax free beyond 50 yards; minimal parallax error closer than 50 yards.
2x Doubler Screw-in doubler provides extra magnification for longer distance shooting.
Battery Life 6-hour auto-shutdown feature maximizes battery life. Typical battery life in normal mode of operation: Maximum brightness of 120 hours (Red)/530 hours (Green), Minimum brightness of 4300 hours (Red)/3700 hours (Green). Typical battery life in night vision mode: Maximum brightness of 6200 hours (Red)/4700 hours (Green), Minimum brightness of 6700 hours (Red)/7300 hours (Green).
Waterproof Optics are sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the binocular.
Fogproof Barrels are filled with nitrogen gas to inhibit internal fogging.
Operating Temperature Rated from -40 degrees to +140 degrees Fahrenheit."
For the $179 CAN price tag I haven't come across a better deal for a red dot with equivilant features(if you know of one I'd be happy to hear about it though

). A rifle rated red dot scope with red/green and night vision mode, flip up covers, low mount, glass cleaning cloth.
There was no problem holding zero and on a 25m range I didn't notice any disernable paralax. However I was not using the doubler at the time.
It should be noted that I changed the nut to secure the unit to the rail from a hex to a thumb tightening type. If I want to pull it off I don't want to be hunting for a wrench. I also added a killflash, any 30mm one will do. Aside from that I'm happy... so far
If any one has any specific questions I'll give answers a shot.
