It worked great outside, but would not dim down for indoor shooting.
I dropped by the Vortex shop in Guelph. Young lady told me that a failure to dim is the first sign of a dying battery.
She installed a new one for me and Voila! Works perfectly.
Sent me home with a Vortex hat and T-shirt, too.
