Vortex venom

Has anyone used a vortex venom pistol reddot on their pcc, specifically an FX9? If so did you have to find a way to raise the height of it? I have one on my turkey shotgun but just picked up an fx9 and was wondering how the two would work together. Thanks guys.

I literally have the setup you describe. FX-9 with a 3/4" riser under the Vortex Venom to get my BUIs to fit nicely in the window if the dot goes down. It actually took a bit of doing to get that riser, had to prowl around on Amazon for a while. I didn't want to pay $200 for the riser - some of those can be quite pricey for a piece of aluminum.

So I ended up running a vortex diamondback tactical 2-7x35 on top and have my venom riding a 45 degree mount. I’m really starting to like this setup.
