Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 .....FFP mean ?

hi, i resently buy a tasco6x24...huge error try saving worth nothing so now im looking for a vortex because they had a great warrenty and they are great scope .But the thing is wath is the difference between those 2 scope

i do not understand wath the FFP does and yes i'v have search on the forum and on google and i still do not understand

and that scope im looking for is primary bench rest and varmint hunting

ffp = first focal plane

this is where the reticule is placed in the scope , what happens when it's placed in the first focal plane is that the reticule if graduated lets say in Mils they will be accurate in any magnification range.

sfp = second focal plane

what happens with this is that the reticule will only be accurate in the max magnification, lets say you have a 6 to 24 power scope @ 24 the reticule will be measurements of 1 mil @ 12 power the reticule will measure in 2 mils etc...
