Good evening,

I need to change my zero stop point on my vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 FFP as I changed my load data. Can I just remove the outer cap, loosen the zero stop screws, adjust the turret, tighten the zero stop screws and move on or do I have to completely start all over as if it was the first time? The instructions are not clear about readjusting zero stop.

Thank you!

You don't have to start over, it's pretty common for guys to sight in, then try to set up the zero stop, so there are a bunch of youtube videos on how to do the correction.

In this video (first one I clicked there may be better ones out there) he goes over the manuals way and then at about 5 minutes goes over how to correct it if you sighted first.

Basically. Pull your top cap off. Note the number on the inner ring where you're sighted. Click it all the way around until you're at your zero stop. Loosen the screws, turn it back to where you were zeroed (without clicking) and then set screws, and then the top cap.

Fantastic thank you !! This is a lot easier, and logical than having to start over!!
