Vortex Viper PST GenII FFP vs Sightron SIII LR FFP

I just sold my S111 6-24 and I have a Vortex gen 11 6-25. FFP

Both are very clear, maybe the Vortex has a slight edge, seems a bit brighter, to me anyhow.

Vortex has a zero stop,S111 don't.

So,if the Vortex don't crap out, I think it's the better Scope.

You get a lot more features, for your buck.

For the extra $100 ish, you get better knobs, and a true zero stop, a touch more clearer.

I haven't had the Vortex out shooting yet, though, so who knows.

Vortex glass got much better with the gen II. Add the RZR zero stop, EBR reticle and better turret detents and it's not really much of a choice.

I'm a Sightron fanboy from way back but the PST has the features you want.

I have the PST II 5-25 and, yes, it is a really good scope. EBR 2 C ret is outstanding ( likely only bettered by SKMR3 ) and the glass is very good.

I know from your blog that you also have razor gen lls
If ever i felt that razor was too much scope for me, how much would i be scraficing going down to viper gen ll?

To the op, since myself am not all that fortunate and dropping a scope could end my precision rifle shooting for a while, i went vortex for unconditional warranty.
