Last year I wanted a 44mm shade for my Vortex Viper PST, and I, for the life of me could not find one in Canada! Even Vortex canada didnt have any, so i ordered one out of the US.... Thing is, I couldnt even get it delivered here, because it was apparently a "Restricted Item"! OOOoooo, a 44mm hollow threaded aluminum tube, deadly. I had it sent to a US parcel service, and picked it up, declared it and it was home... for 35.00. Crazy.
