To all followers of this Prophet River sub forum:

It came to my attention today, I learned of a country wide poll called: People's Choice Golden Bullet Award. I had never heard of it before in my decades of shooting.

I am going to do my best to type the link in correctly. Once it is posted I will double check to ensure it is correct. If it does not work correctly, I will post again,

Well, I got the original message from a different store......but I voted for Prophet River.....

I live in ON but I buy online from PRF....hmmm? Why?

It’s pretty obvious once you’re a customer
 
There are so many good stores.

Prophet River is my #1 best ever importer for example.

Many are excellent at certain but different things (ammo prices, used firearm prices and selection, service, specialty items, importing etc)

Wish we could vote for many different categories and have more stores and retailers recognized!!!! :)
 
I am so pleased that this thread has attracted attention. Again I am partial to P.R.

When I wanted a Ruger #1 in 9.3x74R, it appeared.

When I wanted 1 of 250 maple stocked Rem 7600 35 Whelen, it appeared.

When I wanted a Sako grizzly in 9.3x62, it appeared.

When I wanted Connicut Arms A20 it appeared.

When components were short and I needed 2000 Berger hybrids for the F Class season, they appeared.

I better stop now in case Dawn sees where I "might" be spending her retirement money:). All at fair prices. Don't tell her about the Remington Anniversary pump 30-06:(. If you tell her, I might have to come live with you...

Point is, if you are looking to save 10 cents on a low end item, shop where you can and want.

If you need what you want, say the word and it magically appears in the mail at the fairest price and square dealings.

All the staff bends over backwards for decerning customers.

There are many places to spend our minimal dollars these days. I will spend mine here.

I agree 100 percent Phrophet River goes beyond great service consistently .The entire team delivers on every order and Clay gets it done right the first time .There are a lot of great stores in Canada , The Phrophet River Team deserves accolades for there hard work .I live in Edmonton and have dealt with Clay dozens of times .If you haven't expierenced the magic from Clay and his team give them a call on your next order you will be Glad you did .

I also made a list of 5 dealers i wont give business to.

I would hate to add up what I have spent at Prophet River over the years, probably enough to pay for a couple of new pickup trucks. The prices are good, but the customer service is what keeps bringing me back.
 
No way I would vote for Prophet River. I have dealt with them many times over the past and never had one order without at least one small glitch and some off their mistakes have been really bad. I'm talking about waiting 2 1/2 years for a rifle to show up, they ship one out which is not what I ordered, I ship it back with no credit for doing so. When they ship one out it is still not exactly what I ordered but by this time I'm just happy to get one that is close and say good enough. Now it has been two years since I ordered the stock that I originally wanted and I still have never been told if it arrived.
Now for service I have always found Prairie Gun Traders to exceed all my expectations.
 
Prophet River, Tenda, Alflahertys - would never buy from Ellwood because I like get genuine items not counterfeit. Back in the day Wolverine was half decent until they started to bring in stuff such as Alphaarms, and WK garbage.
