VQ Barrel V-Block

I ordered a few Voltquartzen bits and pieces there the the 10/22, I was just checking over them and i noticed the face of the V-Block looks cast

Its my first time seeing one of these and i just presumed it would be precission machined like the Hammer, trigger & sear kits from them.

I know the pics arent great but you can get some idea as to what I'm talkin about.

Is this nothing to worry about or did one slip through QC.

Looks cast n' blast to me.

Perhaps that's all that's necessary?

Perhaps, but off the top of my head it doesnt look any more precision made than the stock V-Block.

This is meant to alleviate barrel drop for free floating, maybe its a slightly better engagement angle or fit but astetically, it doesnt inspire too much confidence.

I bought the adjustable V block from these guys werks GREAT.
