just got one of these in the mail and gonna be putting it in soon. i read on the rimfire central site not to use the included springs, just use the springs that came with the rifle. anybody have experience with these? good or bad i wanna hear it all. what about the shims? my ruger is a newer model...basically i wanna put it in once and have it work and not have to F with it lol.

The springs you should not use are the new ones with the Volq extractor in that case use the stock one with the new extractor. With anything else use the supplied springs. I have not had any bad issues with Volq stuff, it all works very well.
 
Well, for me, the trigger plunger spring that came with the kit was too light to reset the trigger so I wound up putting the stock one back in. The hammer spring seems to work...

I used the stock springs and my gun rocks
