VQ Tarket Hammer instructions

Well I received my new VQ Target Hammer but it did not come with instructions on how to install it. I checked rimfire central and all they had was an exploded view of the trigger.

I am pretty mechanical, and it does not look overly complicated, but would be nice to see some step by step instructions on how ot install it.

Thanks for all the assistance with this modification especially Hitzy for the link I ...errr missed on rimfire central.

Once I got into it I realized it was so easy ...... it was almost boardering moronic, but when I first looked at the trigger group I was thinking to myself what the flying Fuc$ am I about to attempt:eek: :eek:

Now it only took about 25 minutes (I also cleaned everything while I was in there) and works perfectly:rockOn: I dry fired it twice and it is a huge improvement over the factory trigger, so I am back in action:shotgun:

So funny as I just got my parts (target hammer, bolt release and mag release) yesterday from Rimfire Sports... I was kind of worried about what I was getting myself into as I usually do much better taking things apart rather than putting them back together.

Followed the directions on ruger22.com and had absolutely no difficulties. As John said, what a difference in trigger pull! Also the Volquartsen bolt release is such an improvement over the POS stock one.
