Got some parts in today. Ordered a replacement ram lever and a replacement wedge, both Pietta parts, for an 1860 .44 Army that I bought here on the board that turned out to have some issues when it arrived.
No worries - I got this used steel framed 1860 made in the 1990's for a very fair price ($180 shipped), so I expected to have to tinker with it. The wedge spring was broken and the top half of the lever tongues that retain the lever catch was sheared off.
VTI filled the order promptly, without import/export BS, and for a very reasonable Canadian shipping rate ($7) unlike the $14-15 that DGW charges.
Parts were real Pietta parts and droped in no problem.
I recommend VTI!
