I'll be happy to be shown to be wrong on this, but isn't the sheet metal recievers Hesse/Vulcan are building on, made on the tooling Todd Bailey came up with when he abandoned his cast recievers?

He is the single worst internet gun monster out there. His product was made like the automobiles of the 60's. They looked pretty from a block away, but it was up to the dealers and owners to get them to run. If you dared to criticize, Todd would try or threaten to sue.

The best description of his early MP-5 clones was a comparison between the two makers. It went something like, "One is made by slow, deliberate Germans. The other is chiseled by a madman."

I know a few guys in the US that got his Short Bus Special Weapons guns to work. It took lots of cash to fix tolerances and ####ty ass weld jobs. A buddy in Fla. figured it would have been cheaper to buy a Volmer Sear gun...
