I am looking for loads in these 2 calibers with Vihtavuouri powders shooting bullets of 160grs,& 180grs and for the Dakota
200 grs wildacts. I would like the powder which gives the highest speed. Is n-170 slower than n-560? I am now using rl-25 and I am getting great speeds for my 7mm rem mag,the 160gr accubonds give 3077fps, Will the vv powders give me that speed and which one is as slow as rl-25, any experience with these powders is welcome.
Thanks

I use both N560 & N170 in certain applications. N170 is slightly slower than Reloder 25 in most applications I have tried, whereas N560 is right in the H4831/Norma MRP/RL22 area. N170 is single base, whereas N560 is double-base. Since I have used them mostly in the 264 Win Mag and not in the 7mm Mags, I cannot comment on velocities available. However, I have achieved velocities similar to yours with MRP/Reloder22/IMR7828 in the 7mm Rem Mag.
