VX-3 2.5-8x36 - confirm fit on CZ550?

Hi all,
If my search for a CZ FS ever comes to fruition I am going to use Warne QD rings and have settled on 2 VX-3's, either a 1.75-6x32 or the 2.5-8x36.

I am leaning towards the 2.5-8 due to its verstaility in the future but I see that it has less tube length/mounting width than the 1.75-6.

Can anyone confirm that the 2.5-8 does indeed fit the CZ550 tube? Online search seems to indicate that it does...

I have had one on a 602 / 375HH. There is no additional room, but it worked for me.

If it fits on a ZKK 602 then I will be fine!

Scrumbag - I had thought of the Minox, it looks really nice. My preference for the VX-3 is that they have a long record of being very durable and should it have issues Korth's customer service/warranty is close by and second to none. I'll give it soem thought and try to find a ZA5 in the flesh.

I'm umming and ahhing over what I suspect is much the same dilemma:

I want a scope for my CZ527 in 223

Most of my hunting for small deer (Muntjac, Chinese Water Deer and Roe in Scotland) in some fairly thick stuff so a low mag is desirable but when in a tree stand and I see a fox a fair way off I'd like the magnification to be able to reach out some more.

Let me know if you find something, I'd be interested to compare findings.
