VX6 3-18 compared to VX6 HD 3-18

I have a VX6 HD 3-18 and was thinking about upgrading the Elevation turret and the lenses. ( VX6 HD lenses
The lens upgrade will cost around $300
Just wondering if the glass upgrade is worth the $$$.
Will there be a big noticeable difference?

I have a couple VX5-HD's, which is the same glass as the VX6-HD's, 5x glass instead of 6x. I really suspect you will not be able to tell a difference at all. If you had one of each side by side, you may be able to see some slight variation, but more likely only while lower light or some other extreme situation, and even then minimal. As you will be sending it off and receiving it back some weeks later, I suspect you will notice no difference at all.

I had assumed that was what you meant to say. I really think you'll be hard put to tell a difference.
