vz 52/57 cal?

Found a vz 52/57. How can I be sure of the cal? 7.62X39 or 7.62X45 or others?

My 'she' rifle is 762x39....If it is a 52/57 (aka 'she' rifle) it will be in 762x39

In 1952 the VZ 52 was adopted in 7.62 x 45mm, in 1957 the country adopted the standard Russian 7.62 x 39mm. Most of the 52's were rebarreled as the 52/57 was put into production. If it's marked 52/57 it is in 7.62 x 39mm. Great fun to shoot and a very interesting gas system. Otherwise they copied the Garand fire control mech and kinda held it together like a M1 Carbine.
