Iam also looking for parts for one of these had it given to me today rifle seems to be complete other than folding bayonet and it’s mounting hardware removed with it. I need to learn about these not even sure what calibre it’s in also looking for decent stock sadly bubba hit the stock hard lol

If you REALLY need it... I had A Z T E C add it for me lol. They'll sell you anything LTC offers if you ask. You just have to be willing to shell out almost twice as much for it. XD

This is true so these bz 52/57 rifles worth brining back to original as much as I know about surplus I know nothing about these for a second when the lady pulled it from the closet I got kinda excited as at first glance it looked like a German g 43 and Iam thinking no way is it possible that three of these pass through my hands in one lifetime but it was just a vz52 lol

there are not many parts for those rifles available because there was a limited number imported by Lever Arms
the only addition Allen had was spare m slings and mag pouches and a very limited amount of spare magazines
the Americans got the 7.62x45 guns the magazines are totally different some were parted out,
so, many you might find the parts you need there

A good condition VZ 52 is still worth a fair bit. If the bore is good and the gas system isn't pitted too much (all 7.62x45 was corrosive primed) then it's definitely worth restoring. I have had a couple over the years and I love them. They're like an improved SKS, it's just a shame you have to reload to really take advantage of the better ballistics in the 7.62x45 caliber. It's easier to just get the VZ 52/57 though and shoot 7.62x39. I'm not a fan of the chamber insert caliber conversions myself so I avoid those.
