Hey everyone, I just picked up a VZ 52/57, should be coming in the mail in a few days. I was just wondering if anyone runs corrosive through their rifle or just non-corrosive/reloads?

Thanks,

Brandon

Just wanted to get a variety of opinions, I did read the thread. I traded one of my rifles in for it. I think it was listed for $549.99? It's missing the bayonet, and the previous owner put a different front sling mount and drilled and tapped it for a scope mount. So it's not entirely original unfortunately. I'm going to try and get all the pieces for the bayonet assembly off of Numrich. And I was lucky enough that a nice fellow from Calgary shipped me 3 stripper clips. Just need some more plus a cleaning kit.

Dont be a cheap skate and put corrosive thru a collectible rifle and you can get a cleaning kit from this guy paul milbury <themilitaryking(@)gmail.com>

I feed mine Corrosive if that's what I got. Then you know what I do? I CLEAN it. This whole Corrosive round fear is irrational and silly. Just clean the rifle and you'll be fine. You think the czechs feed them strictly non-corrosive ammo while in service?

Lol. Put the Czech ammo thru it, it has a crome bore. It works a fine as a Swiss clock. I have the proper cleaning kit and I know how to use the extra piece too. Lol.
