Vz 58 accuracy with scope?

Right now I have irons, I get 4-6 inch groups with irons consistantly at 100 yards, Anyone getting sub 4 with a scope?? Interested to do a CSA side mount with bushnell scope if i can get my groups sub 3"...I been using the cheap norinco non corrosive.

did you try a different brand of ammo ?

With a scope at 100 yards I average about 3" groups. I have a feeling that I could reduce this a little but I freely admit to being an average shot.

100 yards with my 4x Browe on it is roughly 3" as well supporting elbows.
I'm sure more could be achieved but it's not my go to rifle for accuracy

not yet, Just been using cheap norinco ammo. Maybe ill try dominion arms see if it helps.

Very interesting... 3" grounds would be acceptable for a VZ for me. Anyone pull off 2 " groups with a scope?

Mine shoots best with s&b ammo.

Not trying to hit sub 1 MOA like im shooting a bolt but the VZ is my favorit shooter because its cheap to shoot and easy to clean so its become my go to shooter, It sees action almost everyweek atlest once. I want to try to see 2" groups.

This was at 75 yards unsupported with irons last winter. Shot in with a range finder to be confident. 5 shots with one flyer in the group. I ran a magwedge rail on it for a bit with nikon optics, but spent more time clearing FTEs than sighting it in. Shes my go-to coyote gun now!
