I was looking at the Vz 58 bolt release on the Zahal website but I can't tell if it can be used in a 5.56 Vz 58 with AR15 magwell adapter.

Uhh, I was pretty sure installing the AR-15 magwell meant you no longer had a bolt hold open function from your magazines. So no, the last round won't hold the bolt open, so the bolt release will not be necessary.
