Hello,

My CSA VZ58 in 7.62x39 has a broken firing pin. Does anyone know where to get a replacement? I tried Wolverine, North Sylva, Zahal, Corwin but nobody has any.

Thanks

that sucks :(

My first VZ58 came shipped with a broken firing pin. i was so sad when i pulled that trigger and heard click. I feel you man. Fortunately I just called the company and they sent me an extra bolt+dust cover.

my internet is too slow to research but if I find one in my box of parts I'll PM you in case you want a free second hand firing pin.

How many rounds did you fire before this happened?

She has some 2000 plus rounds fired with no problems. I would sure appreciate that if you can find it. Ill be glad to send u a free mag in exchange.

What about Movie Arms, the warranty center for CSA?

Popovka and mobusten - what year is written on your rifles? There's a number on the bottom right of the rear sight. If it's a 12 or 13, you may have it fixed under warranty.

Check out this thread:

.. which explains why you may be experiencing breakages. Let us know what year is written on your gun.

I'm not sure what is written on my rifle because I already sent it in to movie arms for warranty repair. I'll take a look at that link though.

I was noticing that Zahal has spare firing pins for 7.62 rifles. I bought a couple extra for my 5.56 guns from a site sponsor, but I may order one for my CZ858 from Zahal. I have never had a problem with that gun, but it may be good to have a spare on hand.
