Are these common to break?

I think I broke one, havn't taken apart the bolt yet, but I am guessing thats the problem, unless there are other common issues.

I chamber a round, pull the trigger, and click, nothing. Waited, then opened up the chamber and looked at the round, no primer strike marks at all. This happened on the very first round of the day. Had the gun out the previous day, and not a single issue. I never cleaned it between the 2 days, actually never did a think, just put the gun in my truck, then took it back out again.

.223 or 7.62x39? Both have had firing pins break, think its more common on the .223 version though.

Any other damage? Harsh recoil?

No other damage I can see, never noticed any harsh recoil the day before, and when I took it that day, It just never fired thats all.

How old is the gun?

The new warranty center is great to deal with, they will take care of you.

My guns few years old now. Its got a lot of rounds through it and has never had an issue.

CSA 223 firing pins seem to be extremly weak in some cases. Call/email north sylva and let them know. They "should" be able to help.

Not common with 7.62 but ye very common with the 223 as these firing pins should not be the same ones used on the 7.62 model. Contact a north sylva for a replacement.

My 7.62x39 had a broken firing pin. Contact CSA directly, they will get you one. They have good customer support
