VZ 58 hand guards

how do you take off the bottom hand guard???

theres a pin infront of the magwell that has to be drifted out, then pull the rear of the handguard down

I tried that it won't move. How much force does it take??

You may need to use a punch and hammer the first time. It should loosen up a bit after you've pushed it through a few times.

put down your wife's hammer and put some steel on that pin. 10 lb sledge should be enough, otherwise you'll have to shoot it out with another rifle. Good luck and post pics

or just a little bit bigger hammer, that usually works too but without the fun story
