VZ 58 & LAR mags

So can anyone tell me if the LAR mags work in the CS VZ 58's in 223? or if there is an addapter to buy? love the gun but hate that crappy clear mag.

Thanks guys, trying to make up my mind. restricted VZ 12", entry level AR15 or Non restricted CZ in .223... but just want to get all my ducks in a row... Dammit why does SFRC have such good deals on restricted rifles!!

Really up to you if you're looking for a red style rifle or black
I had the vz58 in 223 non res and didn't like the style
Picked up a rob xcr non res and I much prefer that style
If you don't mind the restricted rifle go ar15

The above post is writen by someone who has bin there and done that ... For me i absolutly love my VZ58 sporter in 223 , the new magwell's for the AR mag's work great and it sounds like NEA is coming out with an aluminum one now. The only down side to the VZ is it was just never designed for optics and every solution is half ass. I reiterate if you dont mind resticed dont fk around. Get an AR !

They work in mine, the only downside to that magwell is that pmags stick in it but LAR's and GI's work 100%.

what problem are you having with optics? mine has a side ak type rail the seems to work well on my posp scope. Its not a sniper rifle but it works real well on yotes.
