Can anyone tell me why the striker and carrier have a notch milled out of them on a ex military rifle?

I am getting a gremlin tab welded on my carrier as a preventative measure and I was wondering if the tab is good to go on ex military rifles?

Any thoughts?

Part of the Hermex de-auto procedure I expect.
Meant to clearance the additional welding in the receivers of the CZH-2003.

CZ-858s AFAIK, don't have this notch.

On top is a pic of the CZ 858 & below is the CZH 2003 model

Note the grounded area is to ensure that there would be no chance of ever turning them back to full auto. I think this is the main reason why Marstar's batch got seized and the border due to that stupid converted auto rule. Again this is pure speculation on my part.
Also who ever is doing your tabbing should have the rifle if it looks like the bottom 1 in this pic. To ensure proper fitting.
