Anyone have any expeirence? I dont have the funds to buy both and try it out quite yet. I can only afford one.

I want to mount my Aimpiont Comp m4 on it. Will it hold zero if removed and reinstalled?

i havent tried the mount in czechpoint site but it sounds good .

it has a few interesting points over the ncstar,

1. the mount is set far back that it clears the ejecting port and enable the use of stripper clips .
2. it says the factory folder doesnt have to be removed to install the mount.
3. it has quick release lever .

The first one you can get for under $20.00 with free shipping,

where?

Neat looking mount for the '58, centers nicely over the receiver. As Curtton says,

Just one slight problem.

From the Czechpoint web site FAQ:

Q: Does CzechPoint ship parts, accessories, and/or magazines to Canada or to Europe?

A: No.

Also, the web site lists the price as $65. If you know where they're available for $20, in Canada, please share the info.

You can get ours for under $50 without the border or issues. They center perfectly on the CZs, allow open sights & allow receiver cover & bolt removal with the mount still in place....

I got a forwarding service mail and I could just pick it up in the states and bring it back.

Does a scope mount for a military-type rifle fall under the classification of "munitions"? If so, U.S. State Department rules apply. If you find yourself in a spot check by U.S. authorities when leaving the country, the answer to this question will be important to you.

You might check the stickies in the "Legalese" section for links to the web sites of the U.S. government agencies involved.

Just a friendly suggestion.

Get the one that CZ USA sells. Then mark the spot were you are wanting to have the mount. Then with the a roll pin drill out a little whole in it. That way you always place your mount back in the same place.
The one I have always wondered about is this model but never took the plunge.
