I got mine in the mail recently but is it normal for the top of the break to have less slot cutout than the bottom, to me this would cause for muzzle rise. Was it machined wrong? What are yours like. Mine measures approx. .575'' on the top between the side ports and .370'' on the bottom between the ports.

The first pic is of the top of the brake, the second is of the bottom

Should the narrow part of the brake not line up with the cutout for the stop pin?

Can you put a washer on the thread to 'back it off' a 1/2 turn? Or file some metal off to make it spin an extra 1/2 turn?

My brake on my 58 didn't fit exactly either - I had to file a few thou off... go SLOW - a little goes a loooong way!

edit: nevermind - I see you only have one slot in your brake... mine had two... different brake I see..

??? looks like the slot is on the wrong side
It has to be exchanged..... I'll send you another one and postage for that one ...... must have been a Friday

its nice to see examples of exemplary service from dealers:)
this post sealed the deal for me on palinak's brake.
palinak, my order will be placed shortly:D

quality control issues are inevitable to any company, it's how fast the company responds and whether or not they take the matter seriously and show responsibilty for it.

O'rly?

I hope they QC the bores better than they do the slots.

who is too cheap to buy a CGN dealership status ;)
and whose product doesn't work as well as vz58 net product does.
Shall we get to details or testimonials on CGN???
hehehe :D

vz58.net muzzlebreak is the most performant on the market.
Anybody here, please show one of equal dimensions
with a better recoil reduction, I and few other people want to see it
as well as test it.

vz58.net backs every product they sell with an excellent customer service
how it was actualy seen in this thread.

That's why I quit making parts for the VZ'ers. To many opinions and not enough experts. I don't sell any parts through CGN anymore because you can spend literally hundreds of hours developing things and you still get #### on. Ohh, its not quite as good. NO $HIT, its half the price!!. Ohh and wannabe, well sorry. You should try and start a firearms accessory manufacturing business when you are in your mid twenties while supporting a family and not having a pot to piss in. Not to mention I am still pursuing a new venture but posts like this make me wonder why. I am not bashing VZ58.net in any way and should have added a sarcasm emo. That being said you make me realize why it is more or less a waste of time for some one in this country to pursue a career around fire arms development.
