VZ-58 sling

On the leather end of the sling is a metal stud remove it first then feed the leather end through the rear sling swivel, then feed it through the metal peice on the sling like a belt and final feed the leather part through the front sling swivel and reinstall the metal stud into both leather openings.

Thanks! That got it. I had actually tried that before, but it's a tight fit, so I thought I was doing it wrong.

So, any idea how to open the oil bottle? :D

hmmm i did mine differently, but it yours looks to be the right way. I'm gonna change mine. I hooked the leather part on the back mount, and just slid the metal buckle into the front mount. no wonder I can't adjust it :D

I couldn't figure it out at first, and becuase it's a tight fit, I thought that I was doing it wrong, when in fact I was doing it right!

I the part with the pin/button on the buttstock. If it pit it the other way, I find it gets in the way of the sites more, and having the "double layer" end up front, I find it more confortable.
 
Oil bottle is even easyer Clammy take your cleaning rod retaining tool " the stabby little prison shank" place it through the hole on the bottle and turn it left. watch out its full!!! I wore most of my oil lol
