The ones I'm looking at right now are the rear sight scout style mount, the "CSA VZ 58 Sporter Picatinny Scope Mount", and the dust cover mount. I'm looking to mount a simple red-dot like a Bushnell or Primary Arms. Everything else on my gun will be kept stock.
My possible concerns are that the side rail mount looks pretty high, the dust cover is very expensive, and I've never used anything like a scout style scope so I'm skeptical. I read the VZ-58 mounting options thread and there wasn't much on side rail or dust cover.
Anyone care to share their experiences or recommendations regarding these? Any input would be appreciated, thanks.
