I'm currently using the NEA stock adapter with the cantilever rail on top. But it's a pet peeve of mine, not being able to use the iron sights if i needed to. The stock is simply too high.
Although it provides a perfect cheek weld for optics.
I have one of those railed dust covers from Corwin arms that i plan on installing. for use with a Primary Optics 4x.
But i would also like to be able to use my Irons when i take the scope off.
I like having the collapsible stock, being able to change the LOP. Although I've considered the fixed stocks. I think the cheek weld would be too low for optics, and short lop.
So i'm thinking of just getting a different adapter for the collapsible AR15 stock.
So what type of stock adapters are you guys using, and how well do they work with the Irons, and optics?
Or better yet, with a Railed dust cover? (as it sits lover than a side mount)
I've seen straight types and "factory angled" types. Which one comes on a factory CSA sporter? looks angled from pictures.
There doesn't seem to be any adapters in-country atm, but i'm sure corwin or Dlask has them on order now.
Just want something that is the best of both worlds, for optics and irons. If it's too low, i can always get a cheek riser for the MOE stock.
