Hey, just returned from the range where I tested a very nice and accurate Longbranch, my first BTW.
I had bought my VZ-858 too and a few boxes of that nice and corrosive Czech service issue ammo.
Well, despite a very blinding late afternoon sun at about 2 o'clock, I was rewarded with a 10 round grouping of about 3 1/2" at 100 meters, using a 6 o'clock hold on a Palma 6" bullseye.
I already had that kind of results with the same rifle/ammo, even better.
My question: do all the VZ-858 rifles regularly exhibit that kind of casual accuracy?
I would sure like to try it with Norinco's silver box ammo, which already gave me very small groups and standard deviation on the chronograph with my VZ-52/57 before. Is there a place where it can still be found?
PP.
