vz cz rail

Contact Wolverine, they'll get the B&T mount for over $500. I'm still waiting for an inexpensive alternative. There are enough Canadians with this rifle and demand is there; I don't see why Dlask doesn't start making a rail for the 858. The first company to make a rail for under $300 tax and shipping included will make a killing.

Is there a dealer in Canada that has or can bring in the OKO SC2 for the VZ58?

Check the movement on your upper handguard.

I haven't recieved my VZ58 yet, so.... I can't.
I guess what your getting at is that there is alot of play in the handguard?
I see that some of the Czech forces use the same setup for their SA58s, so, would it necessarily mean that the replacement handguard would also have play in it?

They all have play in them.

There is lots of play in the upper handguard. I would say it would be almost impossible to have optics mounted on the handguard that would hold zero as the handguard has to be removed to clean the gas port and piston after shooting. I have also seen the pics, but I doubt very much that Czech forces actually use handguard mounted optics.

Good find palinak. I looked for the rail it is mounted to but came up with bugger all. Looks like an SVD mount, and also would seem to use the same rail system.
