I searched around and couldnt really get a definitive answer. I would appreciate someone answering who know for sure what the thread pitch and handedness (lh or rh) this rifle is.

Sorry thought we were talking rifling,my bad. Corwins usually has a good selection of muzzle devices but not sure where to get adapters or why you would need one.

Sounds like to me you're trying to make a suppressor for it.

Unless you're trying to fit a muzzle brake that is from a different kind of rifle.

I'm trying to fit a muzzle brake that is from a different kind of rifle. I've seen M14x1RH to 1/2x28TPI adapters, but only on American sites that don't ship to Canada..

I'd love to hear how you went about this.

Ask and ye shall receive...:)

There's one thread (by me) in the Red rifle section titled " For your viewing pleasure...." it's probably about 2 years old where I went into (among other things) making my CSA look like an Krinkov. One of which involved making a thread adapter that would allow me to use the Krinkov muzzle device on the CSA--1 x 14 Right hand thread to 24mm. There ARE 1 x 14 to 24 Left hand thread adapters for conventional AK's (available in USA) for those wanting to make their 762 AK's look like AK-74s (so they can attach Ak-74 muzzle devices)
Within the last few months, I posted a diagram (on someone else's thread) that a machinist aquaintance/friend used to fabricate one for me--he basically "reverse engineered" partially from another adapter I had on hand (that didn't have the right thread pattern:(

Yes, they're all gone, gone..gone (and cryin' won't bring her back--as the country western song goes:). I sold the piece/rifle in question, but I did the same thing with a 762 version. I'll post a pic here soon with the rifle and a pic of the thread adapter (and if I can find it, a rough "blueprint" of the aforementioned adapter. so ya'all can get one machined yourselves :)
