Vz58 .223 Mag adapter. Opinions wanted

Hey Guys,

Anyone using them? In particular is anyone using the Zahal one? I'm in the market for a NR Vz58 but only if I can use the mag adapter.

Once the adapter is in place can you still use the after market bolt release?

Thoughts, opinions etc?

I think the Zahal one you are referring to is the one made by CSA. I just installed the CSA adaptor on my 7.62x39 vz58. With this adaptor the bolt hold open has to be replaced in order to work with the AR mags. That being said it won't work with a bolt release designed for the vz mag hold open. I didn't realize this until just now when I read your post. You can find more info about vz58's in the red rifle section.
