VZ58 7.62x39 XCR-L Magazine & Adapter Problems?

The magazine doesn't want to fit into the adapter quite right. I am going to assume this is because the manufactured magazines just don't fit in the adapter. I suppose filing metal would likely be frowned upon?

Not to be a debbie downer....but some people may construe your filing and modifying of the magazines to fit the adapter as manufacturing of magazines for that firearm, which would then require them to be pinned to 5 rounds as its a center fire rifle.

I know, its a stretch, but when running these adapters you want to do no mods to the magazine what so ever, so there isnt any gray area as to the magazines interpretation, or at least not openly admit that the reason you're filing metal away is not because you have to, to be able to run it in the adapter.....

Those adapters dont fit right into 858s. If you take the adapter out of the gun and insert/remove the mag from it cleanly then the problem is either your gun or the way you installed it
