So I ordered a couple AK74u brakes from a sight sponsor. They were awesome to deal with and shipped fast. Yes I knew I was ordering an AK brake and that it would NOT fit my vz58. I had planned on cutting off the piece with the threads and re threading to vz58 thread pattern. However when they arrived I realized this is not possible as they are quite large on the inside with an insert that threads in and has the AK pattern threads inside of that. So maybe this will be even easier. Anybody know where I could get one with vz58 threads? Here's some pics
Also I just added the AKFX ace stock and stormwerkz adapter. It seems like a real quality set up. Really digging it. Can't wait to get it to range.
So do you guys think that the AK74u brake looks a little long? I was really hoping to shorten it and rethread. Looks a little long to me. Just slipped it on for below pic. It's about the cone part longer than the brake in above pic. I find that one plenty long
