Is there anyone out there with the Brugger and Thomet Quad Rails on their VZ who has a good approach for removing their top rail to clean their gas system? That suckers on there tight!!

Dont mean to hijack, but my NEA is fn tight as well. I always have to range it in after , because aim is slightly off. This sux if you shoot lots of corrosive milsurp. I did mark positioning points but, its still always off. For the handguard removal , I use a plastic wedge to pry it off, and not scratch the paint.

FWIW, I shoot lots of corrosive in always-wet Seattle. I slather Gunzilla on the piston and underguard area, and have no problems whatsoever with corrosion—even if I go over a month between shooting and cleaning. Slip 2000 has also worked very well in this regard.
